Intimate wedding in San Galgano / Tuscany

Working in Tuscany is always a pleasure, and this intimate wedding in San Galgano is a perfect example of what I like the most. Jessi and Giulio are from Turin, my city, but they decided to elope and to get married in the beautiful Tuscany, just with their parents and closest friends. They spent 3 days in this gem called Villa Podernovo, one of the best venues around the famous and charming San Galgano Abbey.

This is the perfect place if you are thinking about an intimate wedding and if you are looking for a cosy location, with all the comfort of a luxury hotel but with a rural and raw vibe.Very close to the San Galgano Abbey, so I decided to shoot the couple session there, after the intimate ceremony in the Villa courtyard. Once at the abbey, we found the best light of the day and took some portraits in the less common spots, surrounded by an holy silence and embraced by the gentle September breeze.
